SPANISH ROSA

A beloved 1960s Costa Mesa home transformed, blending family history with modern elegance.

This project involved reimagining a single-family home in Costa Mesa, steeped in family history but in need of a refresh since the 80s. We touched every part of the home, including removing a wall to create an open concept kitchen that invites warmth and connection. Our aim was to update the space while preserving the classic Southern California charm, so we leaned into the Spanish influences that define the area. Natural stones, star and cross marble tile, worn brass finishes, and charming craftsmanship added character throughout. To avoid a single style, we incorporated a mix of antique pieces, modern lighting, and rich tones that highlight the soul of the home.
