Hi! I’m Erika, the founder of Nested Interior Design. While I’m an outdoorsy gal at heart, my true passion lies in creating beautiful and functional indoor spaces. When I’m not designing, you’ll find me hiking with my family, diving into a new cookbook, or planning an intimate gathering with friends. I also love arranging florals and hunting for one-of-a-kind treasures at flea markets.

Although both my husband and I are OC natives, we moved around quite a bit throughout his career in the US Coast Guard. Our travels allowed me to gain a deeper appreciation for different architectural & building styles, communities and ways of living that serve me well when designing for Clients. We are so happy to be back home where Nested Interior Design can proudly serve all of Orange County + most of Southern California. If you have a project outside of SoCal, don’t be afraid to reach out! I’m happy to consider projects nationwide and find a way to best serve you.

I began my career on the construction side of the design industry, giving me a unique edge in navigating the chaos of renovations. I speak fluent 'Contractor,' managing the job site details to ensure your vision comes to life seamlessly—even when those inevitable changes arise. Once the dust settles (literally!) we will install every gorgeous detail - from furniture to decor - to create that dreamy, layered look you’ve been craving.

I’m passionate about working with clients from all walks of life and embracing every design style. I believe no two projects should ever feel the same—each one is a reflection of the heart and soul of the people who live there. I love the challenge of tailoring every detail to my clients, ensuring their space feels personal, intentional, and anything but predictable.
